Hollowtree Images Photographic Studio is a beautiful, state of the art, 1700 sq. ft. facility. Though we are located in North Tampa in the Carrollwood/Northdale area, the studio has a decided New York urban feel. We have distinguished ourselves in the field by providing not only the best in the most up-to date photographic technology, but providing it with amenities not commonly found in most studios. these include a comfortable viewing lounge, ample dressing rooms, and a kid's play room, in addition to the well-equipped photo shooting area. refreshments are available in our kitchen for corporate meetings and photo shoots. There is an interesting story about how Hollowtree Images got its name. When Photographer, Jeff Fay was a boy, he lived across the street from a big field. In the center of the field was a huge tree that had been damaged by lightning, but continued to grow around the large opening left by the lightening strike. This opening was the entrance to other worlds for a young boy. It was his ship to sail on, it was his rocket to fly to the moon in, and it was his fort and secret retreat. It was the site of his first kiss and later was a place where he brought his wife and daughter to share with them. This was a special tree that was symbolic of dreams and promise and new beginnings. Years later when Jeff decided to form his photography business; it seemed only natural to call it "Hollowtree Images".

Jeff Fay's photography experience has grown with the rings on that tree. He has over 20 years of extensive experience in the photo industry. He is not the typical "Mall Photographer" where you get scripted poses and tired props from an hourly employee. He looks at each session as a unique opportunity to bring out the true essence of the subject. His credits include clients such as Dillard's, Starwood Properties and Lazy Days Publication. He started his career in photojournalism, working for newspapers in New York. He is also an accomplished architectural photographer, whose works have been featured in National Magazines.
